Vigora 100 mg, which contains sildenafil citrate, does not directly affect hormone levels. It is primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis through the inhibition of the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5). This mechanism is unrelated to hormonal changes. Testosterone and other sex hormone levels remain largely unaffected by the drug itself. However, by improving erectile function and potentially enhancing sexual activity, it might indirectly influence mood and possibly improve testosterone levels in men with low sexual activity. Still, Vigora does not alter hormone production or regulation in a direct pharmacological manner.
